Resources For California Wildfire Victims
The recent California wildfires have caused an enormous amount of devastation to residents this year. To date, 85 people lost their lives in the Camp fire alone, and over 200 people are not accounted for.
Currently 125,000 acres have burned with a loss of 7,177 structures including homes and businesses that have been destroyed. These fires have many displaced and seeking temporary and permanent lodging. In addition, local businesses that are destroyed have employees wondering when they will be back to work, or if they will be forced to find new jobs.
Victim Resources
There are many resources for fire victims that are available to assist with lodging, financial assistance, debris removal and rebuilding. FEMA assistance is also available to small businesses and individuals within the designated disaster area.
